All Products Washup Blades Explorer Pressroom Solutions has developed the next generation of high performance, long lasting washup blades proven to outperform and outlast traditional washup blade designs. Crafted from American made HDPE and manufactured with our patented, revolutionarily designed knife edge, our blades provide the perfect balance of rigidity and flex. The result is superior cleaning and ink removal allowing for faster, more efficient wash-up cycles and make-ready times. In addition to their superior cleaning performance, our HDPE blade composition is extremely durable while exhibiting an extremely low-friction coefficient. Both of these characteristics allow our blades to have a working life that is 100 to 150% longer than standard washup blade designs. Customers who typically replace standard washup blades once per quarter only have to replace our blades twice a year. Some customers have used the same set of our blades for more than 18 months!
